Glow on, glow on, glow on.
Yes I know ANOTHER glow product post, what can I say, I'm a sucker for em. I haven't used a primer in a while and decided I needed one to stop my makeup sliding off my face when I'm away. The L'oreal Lumi Magique Primer has been around for a while now but I just kept ignoring it as I thought I didn't need another glowy product, silly me, but then I saw that Claire from Beauty & Le Chic rated it and well that girl is all about the glow.
Lumi Magique is a primer that basically wants to give you that lit from within look as well as keeping your slap firmly in place. It has a really nice creamy consistency and gave a lovely glow to the face. Not as much as I would have liked, but it definitely livened things up. I think it's pretty much a dupe for Mac's Strobe Cream which I'm a huge fan of. It doesn't do the best job ever on the glowy side but it did keep things put for a lot longer and for the price range it's a handy number to have in your everyday face makeup bag.

Now onto the offering from Benefit. Benefit are pretty famous for their Moon Beam and Sun Beam highlighters. I have used Moon Beam before and do still but it's the cooler shade of the two so in the summer/autumn months sun beam will really give you that warm, tanned glow. I love it. I mean just look at the bottle. I know packaging isn't the most important thing, but to me, it draws me in. The bottle has a brush and is kind of like a thick nail polish. I use this sparingly. I either mix it in with my foundation, or lightly dab it on to my cheek bones and cupids bow after applying foundation. This stuff is really gorgeous and gives a warm golden glow to the skin without looking like a disco ball. I'm sold.
