Summer in a tub

The smell of coconut is something I adore. It's fresh, clean and reminds me of humid summery weather. Yum, and basically the total opposite of Ireland! The body shop body butters have a cult following due to their amazing moisturizing abilities. They are a thick balmy body butter that keeps the skin super moist and smelling delish. Some say they are too heavy for them during the day and only use them at night,  this is a fair point, but I love using this am and pm and find it soaks in fairly well.

Last summer I discovered the coconut shimmer body butter, and holy moly, I have gone through tubs of the stuff. You see it doesn't just smell divine, and butter the body up like no other, oh no, this tub of coconut love is infused with a very light and soft shimmer. So not only does it make the skin feel dewy and glowy, it now looks it too.

Pop this on over a tan, and well, let the glow games begin.

Oh boy!

Chanel was never really a brand I looked to for makeup but lately I'm having to pull myself away from their counters. They really have fab products that suit all ages so there is something for everyone. I started using the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine a while back and now that summer is here, I'm reintroducing them to my makeup bag.

The Rouge Coco Shine is a range of lipsticks that are meant to hydrate the lips whilst adding colour and shine. I have two colour's but 'Boy' is my favorite so far. It's a natural lip colour that works well on pale skin tones and is fantastic when you have a bronzed glow. The lipsticks are not very thick in consistency so they are more like a gloss in a stick, but not gloopy. I find these lipsticks are great if you suffer with dry lips but still want your pop of colour. The pigmentation is not as good as say MAC, but that's why I find them a great lippie for the day. They are a buildable and hydrating lipstick and boy is the perfect colour for the 'my lips but better' look.
